When we say “Peace be with you” at church, we are saying the very same words that the risen Jesus said when he greeted his disciples after the resurrection. They are words of reconciliation, words of hope, words of love. 

Today, in anticipation for the sermon I’m preaching on Sunday, please take some time to Pass the Peace with your family. And then please text me a video or photograph of you and your family passing the peace. You can send a video saying words “peace be with you,” or you can send a photograph of you making the peace sign or displaying art work with the word Peace on it. Be creative! 

These will be used as part of my message on Sunday.
