As the calendar turns to June, we are excited to begin in person worship. While the number in the sanctuary will still be small, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to begin to return to being in person. Thank you to those who have stepped up to be part of the worship hospitality team. These folks are available to help do everything possible to keep us safe and healthy while worshipping. Don’t forget to make your reservation during the week so that a space is reserved for you on Sunday morning.

I also want to remind the congregation that we are seeking members of the call committee. This group will be talking to potential new pastors from our congregation. The transition team has done a fabulous job building a ministry site profile that describes our church, our strengths, and our needs. Now, we will begin to talk to potential pastors to find the right person.

This is such an important decision for our congregation. This person will help in worship leadership along with Pastor Chuck and Pastor Susan. This person will be responsible for the planning of activities for children and youth from birth through college age including Sunday School and AOB. This sets the foundation of the future of our congregation. This committee will launch in late June after the council approves the members at its June meeting. If you have been thinking about this opportunity, now is the time to email Charlie Radabaugh, Council President at cjradabaugh@comcast.net. We need both youth (high school age) and adults. The committee will have six members and one alternate.
