Savannah serves as the Director of Faith Formation, which includes leading programming for the youngest members of our congregation, organizing adult education opportunities, and connecting Messiah with the wider Auburn and Southwest Washington community through a lens of partnership and accompaniment.
Hometown
Savannah grew up in Dillon and Bozeman, Montana and moved to Cheney, Washington when she was a sophomore in high school. While she loves both, Montana will always be her home.
Training
Savannah studied Religion and Anthropology at Pacific Lutheran University and graduated in 2015. She is currently attending Wartburg Theological Seminary to pursue her Masters in Diaconal Ministry.
Passions
Savannah’s passions include cute animals, books, feminist and liberation theology, hiking in mountains, traveling to new places, studying the intersections of religion and identity, and greating Google Documents. But ultimately, when it comes to ministry, she is most passionate about working towards a community that practices radical inclusivity, justice, and love in everything we do.
