In July, a group of Messiah members read Lenny Duncan’s book Dear Church: A Love Letter from a Black Pastor to the Whitest Congregation in the US. It’s a gorgeous book that lead to some wonderful discussions about what Messiah can do to grow as an anti-racist congregation. Here are some of the recommendation that came out of those discussions:
