Community Partnership Fair

Join us the month of September as we explore what it means to be God’s hands, at work in the world!

Every September the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America encourages churches across the country to take part in an event known as “God’s Work, Our Hands.” This event provides congregations the opportunity to live out their faith by taking part in a service project together. This year, Messiah is going to try a new twist on the “God’s Work, Our Hands” programming!

In the past, our focus has been on a project that Messiah members and friends participate in. This year, we will be hosting a Community Partner Fair on Sunday, September 22 to celebrate and lift up all the ways in which God’s work is done through our hands in conjunction with our community partners.

There will be food, fun, and festivity as Messiah members and friends get an opportunity to mingle with organizations doing great work in our community. It will be a chance to learn about local partners in ministry and possibly find further ways to support our community and engage in our call to service.

Join us on Sunday mornings September 8th and 15th as well, for we will be spending the whole month discussing and providing great educational opportunities for all ages focused around service, vocation and our call to be God’s hands in the world.

All are Welcome.
